Sufism

Al-Taṣawwuf · The Path of the Heart

The inner dimension of Islam. The path of love, annihilation, and return. Where the seeker dissolves into the Beloved — and discovers they were never separate.

"I was a Hidden Treasure and I loved to be known — so I created the world."

— Hadith Qudsi · The foundation of Sufi metaphysics

Sufism — Al-Tasawwuf — is the mystical heart of Islam. Where Islamic law governs the outer life, Sufism tends the inner. It is the science of the soul — Ilm al-Nafs — the map of the journey from the ego-self back to the divine source.

The great Sufi masters did not merely philosophize. They burned. They wept. They spun. They wrote poetry that still stops the breath a thousand years later. And in their burning they left us the most precise and beautiful maps of inner reality ever drawn by human hands.
